At night I dream of broken hallows
My past self wouldn’t recognize
For each thing I stole from him
He ran two hundred thousand miles
And I lost myself for too long
I was led into a hatred warren
Between fragments of a dying star
There were so many to choose from
All my bones crushed by the unknown, my ears wide shut, I can’t hear my own voice
So every single night I feel like I
Fall into my grave when I fall asleep
We’re not contemporary
So I ask myself
Will we ever get this right? (x4)
So I long for completion
Alongside the shadows of my unfinished sentences
And all the letters I’ve thrown away
Dance and laugh in absolute silence
I’ve read all the chapters of my autobiography
My ink is just too dry to write it
Let’s have another glass of liquid amnesia
We can dance and stop asking ourselves why

I liked Desired's self-titled release very much, so had to get "Lovestory" as well, its style feels the closest. Desired must be a fan of the 80ies "Cat's Eye" anime, as tracks 1 and 8 are from its soundtrack. Leading Motive
