lyrics
Like voyagers before us
Gazed rings afar
The purest halo
Set fingers alight
Though we pioneered Elysium
Parted afterglow
My deserted company
Left soaring titanic task
For a dragonfly without its wings
Will crash into Hyperion's core
Fly away from this collision course
Or I will
Close my eyes
And hope to disappear
In saturnine Saturn dreams
Void splits us halfway
Cassini of paranoia
Voids but any light I've shone on your path
I would build eternity before our eyes
If I could bear the next five minutes by your side
Or the five after them, or the ten, thousand, million (...)
My dear, I can't do this anymore
My dear, I can't do this anymore
For the path is fully dark ahead
And azure you is nowhere to be found
Take my slender, funny-looking hand
And I'll sing one other sonnet
For I know but taking care of you
Though I long for calm after the storm
Take my scarlet, fucking freezing hand
And we'll get through this together
My dear
For no pill will bring you back again
And we hurt ourselves for far too long
Cut this withered, earnest fucking hand
And I'll get through this abandoned
My dear

Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
